Hey everyone, I have a 68 GTX with factory ac system and a 440 engine. However, I have noticed there is no vacuum line hooked into the source location going into the heater ac switch. I have manual brakes if this effects the questions below. Pictures also help

1. Is the vacuum line diameter 1/8th?
2. Where does the vacuum source hook up at?
3. Does any auto parts store sale these vacuum lines?
4. Would a 1968 GTX with a 440 come with a vacuum canister?

Vacuum line from switch (1/8 or 3/16 should work) goes through grommet on firewall between water valve and voltage regulator to vacuum fitting on rear of intake manifold. Manual brakes would have a fitting with just the small nipple for the vacuum line. No canister.

The vacuum hose kits are available as a reproduction piece. They retail around $200. If you can locate a used set, the 66 to 69 B-Body are the same and the 70 B-Body is unique to itself.
