1968 RR/GTX hood convert to air grabber

Just wondering is it possible to convert (buy) a 1968 hood to Air Grabber? I know the "vents" will need to be 1969 style with he top vent, but does the actual hood need to be replaced????

68 and 69 had only subtle differences in the underside frame. Otherwise they're only differentiated by the "vents". I suspect some of those differences would be the screw holes to secure the fresh air boxes.
