1968 sport satellite "pinstripe"

Hey guys, first time posting here.
I just bought a 68 Sport Satellite 383 4Speed.
While decoding the fender tag, I noticed that it said "Horizontal Black Pinstripe" but I can't find ANY info or picture of a Sport Satellite with a pinstripe PERIOD.
Anyone have info on that ghost stripe?

Welcome to the forum.

I can't answer your question about the pin stripe, but we would love to see a few pictures of your car. Perhaps jump over to the welcome wagon and introduce yourself and include a couple of pictures. That might also help generate interest too.

My SS codes out as having a pinstripe as well, but a previous respray eliminated from the earth. Here is a link to one of the few cars I've found where they recreated the stripe.

Hi Jay. I still have part of my factory pinstripe on my Sport Satellite fender. Its a double stripe each about 1/16 wide with 1/16 space in between. Top stripe is 9/16 below top edge of fender. I'll try to get you a picture. Hope this helps.
