I am completely baffled by how much it costs to build a gen 2 Hemi these days!

It's not just the cost of a Hemi, but it's the overall cost of doing over the whole car. Unless you have a rare car that was bought for short money, it's at the point now where it's financially not worth doing a total restoration.

Such a cool find. Even better that it hasn't been converted into a Road Runner clone over the years. Nice score.

I told him I have the K frame to bolt a gen 2 Hemi right in that car.

A find like this is only original once, it would be a crime to do any mods or engine replacement.
