How common is the two tone option on a 1968 Roadrunner? Mine has BP2 on the fender tag which means a black top and red body.

Black painted top. It has vinyl top moulding on the C pillar. It has BP2 under the PNT part of the fender tag.

This is a picture of my fender tag to show what I was talking about with the paint code. Also notice it doesn't have a vinyl top code on it as well.

I did not know they did a painted top RR....very, very, rare....I would think

Two tone cars from that era are not common at all regardless of the model.
A two tone car doesn't really add value but it does make the car more interesting.
Nice find.

Thanks for the info guys. I am very happy about the color combo on the car. It has black interior and the decor package as well. I have a lot of work to do on it as it is just a rolling body but excited to have it.

Good luck turning it into a living breathing beast! Build it like you like it.....

Welcome to FBBO! Looks like you have a very interesting RR, post some pictures.

She ain't much but I have most of the parts except for interior parts and a tranny. My first project is new floor pans and trunk pan. All the glass is good except for the windshield.
