I took some current pics today of this ongoing work over at www.paintshop101.com today. Some of you may know this car from when I came on board here at B Body's. I took it in when it was all raw and old, and in it went into my Blast bay last July, 2009. It's a coupe car, it needed new floors, new tail panel, qtrs., the usual for a car this old.

As soon as I returned it last year, they had the Alterkation K Member, a Viper motor and tranny already for installation! Steve at Paintshop took the frame off the cross member, extended it about 4 inches en mass, with inner fenders and all to accommodate the 10 cylinder engine.

I always kick myself every few weeks when I go there to pick up/drop off parts I just Media Blasted b/c I don't have my camera to capture the ongoing progress. Well, today I remembered to bring it, and got their permission to snap away, but, my batteries died on me, not before getting some good shots!

This car will have two turbochargers behind the front seats mounted where the rear windows would go. The new qtrs were widened about 4 inches on each side, Brandon opened them up for a massive air-intake on each side (see pics). Each bank exhaust will route up into the floor into the turbos and out the side before the rear wheel. Also, note the inner wheelhouses are widened out big time. This engine will be in the over 1100 hp range; insane!

I can and will keep you all updated on this car, and hope Brandon and or Steve over at www.paintshop101.com aka MuscleRodShop will and can opine here and there about this car, and others that are in there for a massive modification. Also, the tail panel is now housing a 2009 Challenger unit after some massive metal modifications, it actually fit nearly perfectly in!

Also, they have a wicked 'Cuda that has been chopped several inches, raked out, and widened by 6 inches that you can't even tell, meaning it looks factory! That my friends is the mark of a true artist and craftsman when you can't tell if the factory made it that way!

Make sure you check them out on their site.

Jeff, son of Steve (gosh, that sounds so dramatic) over at MuscleRodShop can speak about this car in more detail, and add more pictures! HINT????

That is gonna be an awesome ride. I have much experience with the Gen III Viper engines,. Please tell me you are building the engine and using a forged rotating assm.
Maybe I should say I have many friends on the Viper Truck forum, VTCOA, that have F/I engines.

No idea, I just media blast their projects, I know the engine is going out for a massage...ask Jeff, he just joined the forum.

Donny, that was really a dumb question on my part. Any build of this magnitude would certainly include a built engine.
