Picked up a 1969 Super Bee with an auto on the column and power steering. I want to convert to a floor shift 4-speed manual steering setup. What is the best/easiest solution for this swap?

    You are ambitious.
    1. Steering - firm feel box, new pitman arm & steering shaft extension (Mancini?)
    2. 4 spd - Brewer's

You need a floor shift manual steering column and a manual steering gear to replace the power steering gear. I think the User named Crank has the Column you need for sale. The floor shift column doesn't have the column shift.

Guess I need to clarify better. No questions about the 4-speed swap. For the steering change, I thought I remember someone talking about a conversion coupler to adapt for the shaft length difference. Cant seem to find that info though, and then I would still have to buy the upper column parts from Tonys Parts.

Hey Joel - you going to start a resto thread on the Super Bee? Or at least share some pics of your newest project.:xscuseless:

I've heard some people just pull apart the collapsing portion of shaft in order to get the increased length. When I had mine disassembled for upper bowl conversion , I added a section to shaft to extend length. Had welding shop down the street finish tig weld it for me, after tack set-up.

Wait a sec - I just noticed the Charger isn't in your signature line. Did you sell it?

Wow, I missed that thread. Your resto thread was instrumental in helping me get through the Coronet restoration. Thanks again...

Ahhh...gotcha. For the steering, you'll just need an extension for the steering column center shaft & Tony's parts has the reproduction upper column pieces that don't have the hole for the auto column shifter (or you could fill it like doing bodywork) and the top piece without the PRNDL
