Here are a few pictures of a 1969 Road Runner project that I have been working on. It was a factory 383 4 speed car but when I bought it, the original engine and transmission were long gone as were a lot of the parts. I believe this was probably a parts car for another one years ago. I had some left over pieces from a 68 Charger project of mine so that was helpful when working on the Road Runner. The car still needs some work but it runs, drives, stops and is finally one color. The engine I built is a 77 model 440 bored .030 with a steel crank, 906 heads and .484 purple cam. The transmission is a 23 spline 4 speed and rear is a 3:55 sure grip. The body was very solid and didn't require a ton of rust repair or body work to make presentable. The paint and body are nowhere near perfect but it looks better than when I brought the car home and I don't have a ton of money tied up in it. I'm still looking for a few parts to finish it up.

And since it's not numbers matching, less likely to be a show/trailer queen. Drive that baby and have fun!
