The window trim is starting to look a bit bad and coming lose on some spots on my Roadrunner (the chrome moulding trim around both front and rear window)

Since it's original glass in the car which laminate is start cracking a bit I'm replacing the glass after this season and figured I could replace the chrome trim as well.

Now for the tricky part: Where to buy it? Does anyone have front and rear as a kit? Or where can one find them for a reasonable price? Any specific places to shop, and what to avoid?

I do believe AMD repops that trim. If your trim isn't too banged up I recommened
straightening and polishing it. The reason it's coming loose is the trim clips are probably rusted or bent and no longer holding the trim. When doing the window glass replacement be sure to install new correct window trim clips.

I used the AMD kit for my rear and it's garbage. If your's isn't too banged up, as Beekeeper stated, straightening and polishing is the way to go. The AMD stuff is waaaay too thin and will bend if you look at it sideways! For the money they charge for it you could probably get yours professionally polished.
The front trim is stainless and will be tougher to straighten but will polish out real well. I did it my self by hand and it turned out really nice.

Same here answer here, take it off and polish/straighten yourself. All it takes is a little work, some buffing wheels, and compound. There are some really good Youtube videos that explain how to do it. I will tell you this, if your Roadrunner has not been restored than more than likely you are going to have window channel rot around your rear window, which also might be causing the trim to come loose.

It's actually pretty straight with some minor dents but the main concern is all the little dots and black marks on it. I'll try to buff it out when it comes loose. A new front windshield is USD 420 here and the rear window about USD 399 so it's not that bad. Though it would be a lot more expensive.

Window channel rot - ouch. I googled it but it's actually not that bad but needs attention at one point or another. I'll add it to the "to do" list. Thanks.

They are all right. I put in my front and rear glass in myself ( trim too) and the clips that hold the trim on are screwed in. They are usually rotted out so you cant turn the screws out to get the clips off or you cant get a screw driver in there cause the glass is still in the way. Since I replaced my glass and clips it was a bit easier. I even had to re-drill the spots were the clips went because I got new window corners and a new valance for the rear window ( which the holes are not pre-drilled) just some things to think about ( polished my old trim up like the guys said ) Good luck).
