Asking what is the correct color for a 1970 440 six pack engine RB block? Were there any blue ones out there or just orange?

Just orange as far as I know

For ’70, all hi-performance engines were painted orange, all others corporate blue.
In case the question was not specific to ’70 production, there were a few blue six-pack motors built later.

Hey Bud, I am SO sorry if I screwed you over with this.. I wasn't trying to make more work for you, just noticed it and thought they did it for a reason? I got a chance to see Brians Runner this week and it is AWESOME, I have a soft spot for v-codes, but that is going to be 1 heck of a rig for sure...

If you are going to Thompson swap meet this weekend let me know, I may have a few cans of plastikote hemi orange, I'll give you, I just have to check to see if they are any good...

No problem Seventy, the engine is getting painted HP- Orange before it gets installed. I appreciate all the info and wanted to keep things correct and accurate. Brian
