Thought I would ask here first rather than wing it... I will be installing my OEM Go-Wing on the deck lid of my 70 Bee and I am hesitant to start drilling until I know the exact location on the exterior surface of my lid. Does anyone have any measurements or templates the I could use to pull this off. My deck lid does have the Go-Wing cut outs on the bottom side.:BangHead:

Don't you have the brackets? Aren't they basically a hole template for the pedestals?

I "suppose" you could get a little more precise....maybe an 1/8th inch or something, but this is how I did mine. Install the brackets first & drill holes from the bottom of the trunk lid.
