I'm not sure how you guys find this information..

Just curious to know the production #'s for a 1970 Coronet 500 2 door

383/4v/727, factory A/C, FE5 Bright Red, black buckets, and console if that helps....

Thanks in advance...

You're only gonna get year, price class, body style, engine and trans combo.

You can also get % of all WP23 in that color.

Let me be the first to say ...

:xscuseless::lol:

I will share photos once I pick it up, I'm just brainstorming on how to build it.

Option 1= Stock Coronet 500 with Super Bee power bulge hood (already on the car as the flat hood is damaged) Ralley Red black bucket seat interior....

Option 2 = I've always wanted another Sublime green Super bee with white interior and stripe....

Where do you get that? all I can find is they build 8247 Coronet 500's

My little white book shows 689 1970 Coronet 500 383/4bbl 2dr's shipped that year, with 620 of them being 383/4bbl, auto cars.

Option 2 sounds like Option 1. Priorities man!

Yep. No option breakdown's for those cars and color breakdown's were just a percentage. That will get you close.

I think you will need to post the whole VIN as the number you posted is the serial number of the car and most people blank that out for privacy.

WP2X*0G186718 was likely built in February pf 1970. That should be fine for what you need to do.

Just so you know I bought a 1979 Coronet 500 hardtop last summer. It has the 383 4Bbl. Auto on the column buckets with a buddy seat. Off-white interior, and tan/brown interior. I know the engine turns over and it's all there, That's about all. It came from Las Vegas New Mexico so there is very little rust but the interior is very sun damaged. Let's keep each other posted on progress.

Hmm, that means there are about 60 383-4 70 Coronet 500's with 4 speeds!

there may have been some three speeds too.
14 to be exact.

8247 total 70 Coronet 500 2 door hardtops
689 383-4 barrel
Of those:
14 3 speeds
55 4 speeds
620 automatics

there may have been some three speeds too.

I almost said that, but a 3 speed would be VERY odd in a 500.

(I'm going to pay extra for the 500 trim level but not pay extra for a fourth gear)

However the post above seems to say 14.

Agree to that. THere were also some 3 speeds in 500 convertibles and 2 seat wagons. :BangHead: :BangHead: (only2)
