1970 FK5 Coronet coded for white vinyl top and Blue body side molding!
318, auto that starts right up and purrs like a kitten. Runs and drives like a dream. Currently has headers on it to a true dual exhaust with tips out back. Car was originally a column auto that the second owner changed to a console auto and buckets when he did a light restoration on the car in 1980. Hood, fenders, doors, deck lid all very nice. Quarters have plastic in them and are showing some bubbling but overall this is a great looking driver. Some rust issues up near vinyl top molding area on both sides. Overall paint is very nice. Bumpers both nice, front bumper fillers are uncracked. Grills nice with minor separation. 14" rallys with good rubber. Trim rings are nice, needs 70-71 centers installed as it has the later centers on it now. Correct jack and hook. Factory radio but not hooked up.
Interior is extremely nice. Dash is mint, door panels are mint. Correct console but woodgrain is peeling. Needs the buckets and rear seat recovered in the burnt orange and the interior would be perfect. Trunk is very nice, lid had some plastic work done in 80's near seam. Engine bay is very nice, needs a good cleaning and the correct battery tie down.
The blue body side molding is factory and was taken off and reinstalled by the second owner in 1980 when he painted the car. This has to be a one of one in FK5 with blue body side molding.
True two owner car that is really unmolested other than the bucket seat/console change and headers and a four barrel were put on the 318 way back when. Fender tag matches body numbers, door tag, vin tag and broadcast sheet.
$13,900.00
