If you can take your eyes off of the 'stunning' interior and slowly move your eyes to the left, you will notice a Y4 Light Gold Metallic 1970 Super Bee - 383, 727, black interior Sales Bank car. That picture was taken by Polaroid on January 16, 1971, in Ross Park, Pocatello, Idaho. First owner took the photograph in the snow with his wife seated on the front passenger-side. He sold the car in May 1973 to the second owner. The second owner repainted the Super Bee blue in 1973 (note door jam in above photo) at a Union 76 service station in Fremont, California, and in the late 70s, asked his "Uncle Doug" (working for Boeing at the time in Washington (state)) to reupholster the interior - bringing poor Uncle Doug the material you see. Uncle Doug stalled for as long as he could but eventually reupholstered the poor car for his nephew. Brought the Super Bee back to Idaho in 1980 where it was then painted black (door jams, under hood, and under trunk left blue and Y4). The Bee remained in the family for the next 50-years...always garaged, seldom driven with 64,000 miles...and with me in Maryland now. No rust! I've talked to surviving family members of both first and second owner families. Still conducting research.
