My 70 Coronet R/T has white bucket seats with an automatic (727) floor console. Can any of you Mopar (experts) folks recommend a good company for just simple white cloth seat covers till I get the funds to get the seats reupholstered? I'd rather get the electrical/mechanical problems done first. The current bucket (original) seats are very worn and subject to tearing. thanks, Richard

By the time you purchase and modify anything temporary, you probably could have bought the real covers. This time of year Legendary or Classic industries usually has a good sale.

Put the bottoms on your self, they're easy.

Take on of the backs off, so you can see how it's done.

If you think you can do it, go ahead.

If not, take both backs to a local upholsterer.

I was quoted between $75 and $100 each for just the backs.

...and you still have one in tact for them to reverse engineer.

You'll need a $12 set of harbor freight hog ring pliers and a $6 box of tractor supply hog rings.

Save the harbor freight receipt, they might break, mine did.
