I have a 1970 Coronet R/T convertible for sale. This is not a clone; this is a real-deal, unrestored WS27 car with 75,000 original miles. It is 1 of just 203 produced.

Original B5 blue / black interior. 440 / 4bbl, auto, console. PS (w/ cooler), PB, Disks. Rallye dash. Axle pkg. Tic Toc Tach. AM/FM. Hood pins.

The body numbers, fender tag, door sticker, and clear title all match. Unfortunately, the engine and trans are replacements, and do not match. The casting number and date on the block are correct for the build date, but it is not the original block.

Car is originally from North Carolina and has a good amount of rust. I don't think this car has run in a good long while. I've seen worse, and there are some good spots, but this one needs it all. Done nicely, it's a $75,000+ car.

Car is mostly complete, and comes with some extras as well. Of note, all of the convertible-specific stuff is present. Also includes a rust-free front valance, pass fender, decklid, new floors, new trunk floors, new trunk extensions, etc.

177 photographs of the car can be seen at:

This is a very, very rare car with solid documentation. Try to find another one. Price reduced AGAIN - $14,500. I have a little room to move but please don't offer me $10,000. Partial trades considered. Car is in Denver, CO. Thank you.

Wow I wish I had it. Looks to be in good shape for its age. Plus most everything is there. Someone will jump on this car quickly Im sure.

X2 on what Lowhound said.

I'm interested in the grills and bumper fillers if you decide to part it out.

I surely hope he is smarter than that. This thing doesn't need many parts itself. To part this car out would be . Hell I just couldn't imagine parting a complete car out. But it doesn't belong to me, but he is giving us the chance to own it so we cant complain if he does.

There will be no parting of any kind; I wouldn't take one screw off this car. I've been offered $2500 just for the side scoops - it isn't happening. I'd like the car to go to a good home - That is my number one priority. I'm very upside down on this car, so the concept of making a buck on it has been long abandoned. At this point, I'd just like someone who appreciates what it is to have it. Thanks.

Somebody stab him if he parts that out

... not to mention I'd prefer not to be stabbed ... ha...

I wish you the best and appreciate your sense of humor. Welcome and good luck brother

[QUOTE I've been offered $2500 just for the side scoops - it isn't happening.

I have a NOS pair sidescoops for a 1970 Coronet R/T and I will gladly sell these for $2500.

Don I'm doubting that will be parted out.

I know, but I'm desperate for those parts. Doesn't hurt to throw it out there.

I would pay $2.5K for NOS grills and bumper fillers! Did I say in a previous comment that I'm desperate?!?

Best of luck to you...:eusa_think:Sonny says;"looks like 10 or so to me."

68GTX4speed, I have the contact info for the person who made me the $2500 side-scoop offer. Contact me if you are serious and I'll put the two of you in touch. Regards...

Friends, I need to get this car on a new path... ASAP. I have it on "the auction site" currently but would like to move the car any way I can. I just don't have the resources (time or money) for this one right now. I'm a motivated seller and will consider partial / full trades; I like early A-bodies, early b-bodies, max wedge stuff, race hemi stuff, Finned cars, rare intake manifolds, 1968 darts, magnesium wheels, 354s, 392s, early race parts, large parts collections, etc. If you have a whole yard of 742 chunks, we can make a deal. Or - I have a couple grand to move in an outright cash purchase. Not four grand, but a couple grand. What do you have? Cheers.
