I need to repair or replace the front bench in my 70 RR but I don't know which frames will interchange. Someone removed the driver's side back rest part completely on my original before I got it. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

To clarify, I'm interested in the frame interchange and not upholstery since it will be recovered anyway. There is no center that folds down either. Its just two separate backs sharing a common base.

I did a quick google search and found 69-70 b-bodies have the same bench seats with the headrests. 68 showed no headrests. so 69 to 70 2 door b-bodies with the bench seat will work as direct replacements.

I hope this helps,
Joe

I believe 70 is a one year only seat. others will bolt in and work though.

I know that the 70 buckets fit from E body to B body... I always wondered if a 70 E body bench seat with the two bucket seat backs and buddy seat would fit on a 70 b body if you used the 70 bench seat brackets... Would make an awesome custom statement. You could upholster the backs with Roadrunner covers and have Legendary jiff up a matching bottom. My guess is that the width of the bottom wouldn't match.
