1970 Hemi RR ----HOT IDLE COMPENSATOR VALVE

Has anybody had any experience with these HIC valves

just installed a new pair of NOS carbs

Idles & starts great

But i noticed after driving the car & letting it sit for about 20 minutes
& then starting it again it has an erratic idle for a couple minutes then it is fine

Guessing it is the HIC valve not opening up
is there a way to adjust it
or Fix this problem
