1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite
318 2BBL Automatic
Built in Los Angeles
Sold new in CA, later sold to Texas owner. Car has been in Ohio 3 months.
166k miles and climbing daily
Original FY1 Lemon Twist paint. Has lots of dings, scratches and patina.
Motor professionally rebuilt 2012 with receipts. Bored .030 but otherwise stock.
HEI ignition and Hijacker shocks recently added. Factory style single exhaust.
It is a bucket seat, console automatic shift car.
All gauges and lights work. Keys lock and unlock both doors and trunk. Windows crank manually.
Original factory radio and radio faceplate come with the car, but are not installed.
Wipers/washers work. Has factory air, not working. Factory front disc brakes.
Tires are 225/70/14 with LN tread, date coded 2012 and 2013. Original hubcaps come with it.
New alternator and battery.
Other than the trunk, you could eat off the underside of this car. The previous owner had vinyl mats laying in the trunk that trapped water. Trunk rot does not extend to the seams, so the fix should be relatively easy. Appears to have newer gas tank.
All sheet metal, floors, frame rails, quarters, hood are solid. Glass is all good. Will need small rust spots repaired at each side base of rear window. Original vinyl top was removed years ago and the roof was painted black. New vinyl top comes with the car.
This car is driven regularly. Drive it anywhere. Convert it to a RR or GTX or Superbird. Leave it as is. These bodies were only made one year.
