I have a 1970 Power Bulge hood sitting in my shed for 15 years now. It had some corrosion on the inside when I put it in there but is out of the weather. The sheet metal is straight and I think media blasting would clean out any loose crud.
I have no idea what it is worth but would sure entertain any offers. I have what I guess would be called the "air intake insert" that attaches on back of the hood but do not have the CI displacement logo that goes in it. The hood is located in Shreveport, LA. I'm guessing it would not be cheap to ship it. Anyone interested let me know and I'll figure out how to post photos.

from your description , it sounds like a 70 Road Runner hood.....but pix would be helpful !

I believe that it is a Road Runner hood or maybe a GTX too? I have a 70 Belevedere with the flat hood and prefer to stick with it since it is original to the car. I prefer the sleeper look!

Also, I see the Plymouth logo on your quarters. My car was originally B5 blue and I am thinking of using them on my quarters too. Just can't decide on white or black lettering. I appreciate seeing your car, they look sharp!

Very cool. I bought mine back in 95, 3rd owner. Very basic California car with A/C, P/S and not much else. Been on the back burner in my garage a long time but it was my daily driver for 10 years. Never a problem until I replaced the points with factory electronic ignition. It was a rebuilt didtributor from Advance Auto. It fried somehow, never had a Chrysler distributor quit on me, not much to go wrong in it. So the only time it ever died on me was after me trying to make it "more" dependable!

stick with the point dizzy.....thats how it came,,,,thats how it should stay...im a firm believer in NOT ALTERING your car....all you ask for is problems!
