Well I think I found the factory color for my 1970 Roadrunner column is medium tan Metallic Lucite code 9772L. I have some original paint on one of the collar pieces up top and it is definitely tan metallic. I cannot even find any paint shop to reference the Lucite code. I would love to get it in a spay can. I can find my body color which is FT6 and is a little darker and glossy. Anyone else have a factory unrestored tan column that is metallic? Everything I can find pictures of has been restored with a non factory color paint. I called Herb's and he acted like I was nuts...

If it's suede finish, PPG has the stuff. It's lacquer, and about 90 bucks a pint.

It will for sure be suede and ppg and Kolor korrect has the correct colors as stated its lacquer and is pricey for sure

I think that there are some paint stores that can mix your paint and put it in a spray can.

Thanks guys. I am still searching for someone to put it in a can. I may just have
a paint shop shoot it. The Ditzler # is 23219 puma tan poly met.

Herbs Parts has been advertising interior paint in rattle cans for awhile now. It might just be for soft parts and plastic, but might be worth a phone call to see what they have.

Thanks. The guy who painted my car knew exactly when I called him and said right off it is Suede lacquer. It ended up being $110.00 his cost from PPG. The mixing codes are not even in his machine. I dropped off the pieces to be painted and will post some picks in a few weeks when I get them back.

PPG suede on my column pieces for my e-body.
