G440 HP 1971 engine completely rebuilt, fresh, done right.
Cast 12/16/70, built 1/11, VIN 1A150062
I built this engine to be close to factory correct for a restoration, but still run really strong.
Quick rundown of the build...
fresh 4.375" bore w/ Wiseco forged flattop pistons, true 10.1:1 compression
forged crank turned .010"/.010", ARP rod bolts, internally balanced rotating assembly
correct hemi/six pack oil pan, 1/2" pickup
Summit K6401 cam .466"/.488" lift, 224°/234° at .050" (slightly bigger than stock, works great w/ either factory manifolds or headers and stock torque converter), double roller timing chain
1971 date correct 346 casting heads completely rebuilt w/ new valves, Comp Cams valve springs, retainers, and locks, hardened exhaust seats, good valve job and mild bowl porting
correct 1971 valve covers and 3512501 intake manifold
New fuel pump.
Carb, distributor, and exhaust manifolds are NOT included.
Complete build sheet w/ part numbers, clearances, and all specs will be provided.
Has been fired and cam break-in procedure done on test stand.
$4,900 or best reasonable offer. Will wrap in plastic, strap to a pallet, and drop off at terminal for shipping that YOU pay for and arrange. For sale locally also...willing to meet/deliver a reasonable distance.
