Should I have my old alternator rebuilt by a good reputable electric motor shop, or buy a rebuilt from like NAPA? Not even sure if it's the original, anyway. It has two groove pulley, two field terminals. I think I burnt it up as it's not charging now, using a bad battery. I suppose I better do one or the other and change out the mopar P4529794 voltage regulator. Any suggestions? I am guessing it should be a 50 amp alternator in an original 440-6 pack car with four speed. Should i go for a 78 amp alternator, or just stay stock. I don't run anything extra on this car, or race it. Just drive it now and then. WOW.jpg

I'm pretty sure a 75amp was the stock one. Theres nothing wrong with the napa ones have ran them before I just bought a stock one from summit racing for $100 I think.
