Hi- Looking for a replacement for a sick 150 mph 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner rallye dash or a good place to have mine fixed. The whirring sound is driving me crazy. Thanks.

it might be your speedo cable they dry out and start to make noise.

Hi 72 BLUE 400 - That was my first thought. My mechanic lubed up the cable but the issue persists. I can hear it spinning in the speedometer and the needle flops around like crazy. I'm hoping to find someone good to fix it. Finding a replacement for a 150 mph speedo is a real problem. Maybe I can get the Tachman to refurbish it.

Thanks guys, but the gears are shot. It needs a complete rebuild or replacement. Also looking for the temp/ammeter combo gauge. Ammeter part is shot and draining the battery. Thanks guys.

I have a 150 speedo in the trunk of my car right now. I replaced the entire dash about a year and a half ago due to a cut radio spot. As you can see in the picture, there is also a temp/amp gauge. And I appear to be fairly local to you. PM me if interested.
