1973 Charger Front Valance Identification

I need to know how to tell a 73 front valance from a 72 front valance. Thanks.

I don't think there's a difference I have both in the garage I'll look and call you tomorrow, by the way how's your back ?

72 middle mounts are closer to the outside.

You can put a 73 valance on a 72, but those mounts won't bolt up.

To use a 72 valance on a 73, you'd have to cut those mounts off.

I've got a 73 valance on my 72, and except for those mounts, everything else seems to line up.


I think mine will be fine with the valance to fender bolts and the center bolts.

OK. That makes sence. I have a 73 car here that I can measure where things are supposed to be and tell what I have. Thanks.

on a straight view, 73/74 rear valance are straight from end to end on rear edge meeting with radiator support

71/72s are longer, and got a curve to get that longer area.... will try to find a pic to show

There is diff also on lenght of brackets with frame rails
