Man you don't hear that name in bikes often AT ALL around my neck of the woods.
Dad had a couple Norton's back in the mid 80's...a 750 Commando and an 850 Commando.
He had a couple other British bikes too...BSA Rocket 3 and a Triumph Bonneville (750 IIRC).
I couldn't tell you what year each was.
