For Sale: Not Mine 1975 Plymouth Road Runner - $58k

10 times what I paid for my new one. Hard to find one with a 400 but it shouldn't be driven anyway I suppose. Pretty sure that car is really low on the "need" list these days. Nice that someone kept it that nice, but they get no love. At least mine had a tach, console and was red...

The year... the body style... the emissions-choked engine... the color... all in the "non-desirable" column. Yet, pretty much an all-original super low mileage car. Wonder what something like this would really go for.

For posterity (you never know ):

I guess the seller believes best to start high, you can always go lower method.

It's nice to see the trunk decal in original condition - all I have seen have been so faded it was hard to tell what they looked like.

It’s pretty cool but I can’t imagine it worth anything like his ask. I wonder how it ended up without power steering? Factory or salesman error where they forgot to check that box on the form?
Probably explains why only driven 2000 miles.
Highest price I’ve ever seen a late B body go for was in the 30s, and that was at an auction.

There are a number of reasons why this was a one-year failure, and the last of the line. Trying to make a road runner into a 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is one of those reasons.

and then the 1976 model year RR came out.

I'm not even going to post a picture of one.
