2 speed wiper motor resistor

Anyone know if an ignition ballace resistor will work on the 2 speed wiper motor?

i read the resister should be 1.00 ohms.

if not where are they sold?

I couldn't find one anywhere, even NOS is a replacement that doesn't even look or mount the same. I bought a "parts" wiper with a good resister on it to get mine.

yea i was reading the mounting tab wasnt same on NOS. I have the mounting tab from mine or i can modify one.

do you know where they have NOS?

I believe the reading should be around 0.15 ohms for the 2 speed wiper motor resistor.

thanks ill order that jegs and cut off the mounting portion and then use my metal mounting plate
