2nd gen charger electric headlight doors

i got my new MCG in the mail yesterday and i saw an ad for a place in idaho called charger specialties that sells a kit to convert the vacuum headlight doors to electric.

they only have two pics of it (uninstalled) and no comments, specs or any other info other that there is a month delay in shipping. ive seen some setups on youtube that "look" like they work ok but im skeptical and i want more info. i emailed them and i plan on calling on monday but i was wondering if anybody has a set and can give me the straight dope on them.

the classic industries price is exactly 15% higher than charger specialties so the "coupon" or illusion of getting a deal makes them the same price.....minus the crazy shipping cost from C.I.

I love Charger Specialties. I have received great parts, new and used from them over the last few years.

Did you get the headlight kit from them? Any idea why thery day its a month wait?

My guess is that they are made to order. Sometimes these small companies are run by people with other full time jobs. Companies like Classic Industries and Year One have multiple suppliers, some are just guys building stuff in their garages.
