SOLD 3.23 third member 489 case $200

3.23 open differential and a 489 case with pinion snubber included. Did not pattern the gears effectively (tried with diaper rash cream as you can see) but measured the backlash at 0.007". Ring and pinion both appear to be in good shape with no pitting. Not sure of mileage as this came loose with a car I purchased. I presume it would not be cost effective to ship this. Would make a great core to start off with for a sure grip and gear change. Looks to be completely virgin, no markings for cap orientation present, as often seen when a unit has been rebuilt.
