3 speed wiper mortor uninstall

Hey Guys, Can anyone tell me how to uninstall a 3 speed wiper motor? I did a search couldn't find anything. Do I have to do it under the console? Thanks!

Undo the nuts and gently pull the assembly out, you may get lucky and the arm and linkage end can be worked out the hole. Wrap a wire around the linkage and then remove the clip. Then installation should be the reverse without crawling up behind the radio...

On a holiday.. probably WITH! Once you get the motor loose and pulled forward you may need to move the wipers to get the linkage to come out. Worth a shot before it takes a case to be able to lay on the floor and reach up under the dash!

I don't see a clip, All I see is the nut holding the wiper motor to the linkage? Do I undo the nut? Hmm I think I had one to many beers...lol

LOL.. the arm is held on by a nut and the linkage attached to it is held on by a clip, with plastic parts under it. Pending what you need to do, you could just unbolt the arm and wire it in place until you do what you need with the motor.

Well, despite the beers, I did get the nut off and wired it up. I'm going to have this one rebuilt. Thanks for the tips, I hope I can get it back on!

Glad it worked, just be certain of where you send it.. so you get it back in proper time! The arm is "keyed" so it can only go on one way later!
