I was having this block readied to use in my car but found another 383 that was date correct for it. I had the shop finish the work on this one. It has been bored 60 over and the decks were cut level (15 thou). The casting number and date is visible in the photos. The stamping on the pad was scrubbed during the decking process. This block is literally ready to build. It does come with the main caps as well. I did spray a preservative to prevent flash rusting after these photos were taken but it will easily come off. I do have forged cranks and reconditioned rods available as well if you are in need of those items. Located in Winchester, TN and can ship at buyer’s expense but it is likely to be expensive given the weight. Asking $950 OBO.
