4 speed hump cut out template. 1969 B body

Did you put that seam sealer on with a mop ?!
Pretty much. Lol. I had a crappy 2” brush and wanted to get it done. Had to cut half the bristles off it to stiffen it up enough. It was a bit of a sheet show! Lol

It looks thicker than it is, but yes it’s heavy. At the end of the day it a driver, you’ll never see it, so I don’t care too much on this one. Plus the welder, not me, wasn’t the best, so I was trying cover up his handy work so I didn’t have a reminder of it!

So the welding and the seam sealer could both pass for OE.....

Original 67 a-body, floor cut and found many things dropped into the crossmember.
Yes, some bozo modified the crossmember at the bottom for a Hurst.

I find it interesting how the floor has a curve as it meets the crossmember.

Last pics no trans in it.

Last pic shows curve at the front, which takes two turns.

Lol. Totally. I had that in mind when I applied it. Thinking, that pretty much looks OE..

Didn’t weld it solid all the way around, mostly tacks up near the point and a little more on the floor and hump nearest the driver.

I just really wanted it sealed well. I did the bottom side too so no moisture will pass.
