What is the correct power steering pump for the 440? I currently have a federal style that was on the car. But all the pics I've seen of other 440s have the Saginaw pump. Thanks

I have a federal pump came with my 383, using it on my 440 now. is there a problem with yours? or are you just trying to get what the factory put on there? My research showed it could have been either pump, saginaw was a popular brand on most applications but even the FSM refers to both pumps.

My issue is that the PS belt rubs the oil filter, so I thought it could be the pump is the wrong one.

That is strange is the bracket correct? I'll see if I have a picture.

Here is an old one

The bracket is appears to be correct, what is the diameter of your pulley? Mine is a 3 spoke like the one in the pic and 7" in diameter.
