I have a recently rebuilt 46RE transmission that was used in a '70 Barracuda for a short time. The owner swapped to a 5 speed manual and pulled this trans out. It has been rebuilt with 618 internals designed for Cummins diesel trucks. It has a 10" 3000 stall LOCKUP converter.
The trans was used with an aluminum 3G 6.4 Hemi and comes with the SFI approved 8 bolt Hemi flexplate and hardware. All of these transmissions were Small Block bell pattern which also matches the 3G Hemi.
Wiring and electrical plugs for operation are included but this transmission needs a stand alone controller to operate the overdrive and lockup functions. I'm told MSD offers one, I have not confirmed this.
It has the deep pan which is standard with the 518/46 series models.
$800. May consider trades for the following items below:
1970 Charger LEFT fender and front valance.
73-76 A body 8 1/4" axle with 3.21 or 3.55 gears.
Center console for '68-70 B body.
HP manifolds for 68-71 383-440.
Transmission is in Northern CA, Granite Bay.
PayPal is preferred. Thank you for looking.
