OK! I have almost got my 62 440 running like I want it to. I now have a problem with the new rebuilt motor (30 over) stumbling at around 3k while driving. I have new 906 rebuilt heads, new xe-262h-10 cam at 462/470 lift,
262-270 duration,218 intake,224 ex. It's a hydraulic flat cam. It has new 4144-1, 4365-1 holley carbs and new intake Edelbrock. Since it's a real pain to replace jets in it I was hoping that someone could tell me just what jets and maybe a power valve I'm needing to clear up the stumble. It's not all that bad but it's there.

Thanks

same answer I give for all 6 pack questions, lol
call promax, he will sell you the power valve, power valve protector, jets, etc everything you need, plus know exactly what you should use..

can you pm me with his number
thanks

you don't need to waste time or money with promax. put some 64 jets in the center carb and richen up the idle circuts on the end carbs. it's easy.

Promax could simply confirm that and sell him the jets and power valve if he needs a different one, his prices are normally cheaper than what I see for holley parts. he sold another member I sent to him rebuild kits for like $75 (all 3), and a you answer a few questions, he tells puts the jets, power valve, etc in the kits you need..

I have put 64 in the center carb, but nothing to the end ones.
Thanks
