62-65 ignition and door keys.

Hi all- on a 64 dodge is there supposed to be one ignition key and another that operates both the doors and trunk?

Thanks Joe! I want to get my trunk lock re-keyed to match the doors. Hope that's possible because a matching 3pc set is $$$ to the point where I'd just leave it as is if the new set is the only option.

Both my 64's one dodge and one plymouth had ignition and doors on the star key and the trunk and glove box on the round key.

Yes sir I believe you're correct , I think that's how mine is.

Doors and ignition are the same pentastar key. Trunk console glove box round key.

Same here, but we've replaced the door locks so we've got 3 keys - 1x pentastar for the doors, another for the ignition and the round key for the trunk etc! :icon_rolleyes:

I may be wrong,but I think you'll find the "original" ignition key up to 65 is the third one on the left.It had the Forward Look logo until 62 then the Pentastar beginning in 63.
