is there a place to find the average measurement from the ground to the fender opening in order to adjust the height of the torsion adjustments? WOW, I hope this makes sense ;o)

Not really. You can adjust the height to what you like, or find someone that has something you like and take their measurement and do the same for yours. Also there is some measurements in the fsm that go off different points to give the ride height.

That's what I had in mind but thought a number would be a good starting place. Just had the 7 qt oil pan replaced. I let a friend drive the car to major cruise late last year.... I'm not saying he wasn't watching and maybe bottomed out....because it could have been me or the wife. The car does not get driven much.

I dropped the front about 2" when I rebuilt the front end. I like the way it sits, but everyone has their own opinion.

Measuring from the ground through the center of the hub cap, my front is at 27 inches running 225-75-15's and the rear is at 25 inches running 275-60-15's. Any higher in the front has a dramatic effect on the ride quality of this car.

Thanks to all. I am on my way out to the garage to lift the front end some. Now I am told that the drivers side should be a little higher than the passenger side due to the weight of the driver when driving down the road. And I will look into that and check it when I think I am done

I run my 66 a little higher because of the 7 qt oil pan to. But I like the look of the front end up a few inches. If you run a little taller tire on the rear it comes out sitting almost level.

I have a booklet that is for measurement points and specifications. It covers 65 - 70 though. If you think it will help, I would be glad to post a picture of that page that shows how and where to measure and the specs.
