64 Polara window chanel

The channel on the back side of the vent window frame that the door glass slides up and down in is gone on my car. There is no weatherstrip there and of course it leaks and rattles. I think I just need window chanel from what I see in a catalog. I searched around the site and read threads about installation. Is removing the vent frame from the door the only way to install it? I can see where inserting it in the chanel down inside the door would be a chore.

I had mine off the door and rebuilt all the felt runners at one time. The end one I
bought a roll. If the front one is trash the back one is most likely gone too.
