There were 2 different style firewall pads used on 62-65 B bodies. The only difference is where the larger piece goes over the steering column. The ONLY difference I can think of is 62-64 used one shape of steering column to firewall plate and 65 used a larger one year only shape plate.

Can someone with a 65 Coronet or Satellite share a picture of the black cardboard insulation and show how it fits around the steering column.

In the pictures below I'm THINKING the top one is 65 only and the bottom is 62-64.

Thanks!

Love your product! Pleasure meeting you at Chryslers @ Carslisle last year.

You guys rock!

FYI That wiggly sort of T shaped perf cut in the one pad goes around the washer foot pump bracket.

This helps confirm my theory. Now just need a picture of a 65 B body to nail it.

PS that one BIG piece on the left side in my pictures goes above the drivers side kick panel and wraps under the dash so I've been told. Does anyone have a teardown picture from a restoration showing that piece in the car?

What goes thru the holes in those circled areas? I thought I had seen grommets for the 2 larger holes too. Is that correct?

I can't find the washer pic but it is attached with three screws after the insulation is in place. This is the unit. (Not in its correct location)

The hole under the speedometer cable on my firewall isn't drilled out. There is a location dimple there for it. Not sure what option would call for it.
