The ebrake cable for the 65 coronet runs through the tranny crossmember.
How do you remove the cable from the crossmember??????
thx

Once you release tension on it and disconnect it from the secondary caes that run to the wheels it's free to come out. It might take a few taps with a punch and hammer to dislodge it, but that's all there is to it. It comes out from the front side of the x member.

You will just need a pair of pliers to squeeze in the cable keepers.

does it have "fingers" like where the ebrake cables go through the backing plates?
