66 / 67 Belvedere Hood ornament base

Hi everyone,

I am in need of the base plate for my 66 Belvedere hood ornament. I have the ornament (383) and the piece that secures it from inside the hood. Now, I'm just needing that small chrome piece (about 1 1/2 long-- with a hole) that fits on top of the hood and is the base for the ornament. Somewhere in my garage that darn part exists, but I have been unable to locate it.

I'm not sure you will find the base alone. The entire unit is available at Classic.

Thanks AR67GTX. I knew that I can get the entire thing from Classic, but was not trying to get another complete set. I was hoping that someone has a car they are parting out ....just to get that small base.

Let me go see if I have one. Would it be the same as for a '67? I should have one of those. If I do, you can have it.

Yep, I have one with good chrome. Go ahead and send me your mailing address via private response and I will drop in the mail for you. No charge, happy to help out. I looked for a gasket, but could not find one.
