Working on front windshield inner support, enclosed is a picture of the support or bracket ?I am questioning, should it be as it looks or less than the 90 and some what closed? other 2 are much less than 90

Never really had that question because they all looked like the one in your picture. I'm thinking the rubber gasket is between that and the glass. Can't you sort of test fit the rubber to it and see? I bet the ear goes into a channel in the bottom of the rubber.
That tab is to keep the windshield from sliding down at least during production. You will notice the bottom part of the gasket does not go on either side of the pinch weld like the sides and top, it just sits on top. With out it, the windshield could slide down. I think after the trim is on, it is no longer an issue. Leave it alone, nothing is wrong there.
