Hey guys and gals hope all is well! So have been slowly figuring out the gremlins with my father in laws 66 charger. One that is really annoying is the interior rear view mirror. It moves back and forth when accelerating and braking. I removed it from its mounting space and it seems like there is a "block/shim" that goes into the void to keep it from going back and forth. Im guessing it is a separate part from the actual mirror, all those parts i have are complete with the mirror but something is definitely missing that it would prevent it from doing that. As you can see in the photos I'm pushing the mirror all the way towards the windshield other photos show what behind the mounting surface and the back of the rear view mounting surface.
