66 charger sill plate retainer

So I bought reproduced sill plates from pg classic an it seems there is another part that goes under the plate for it to screw to? Any ideas on if it's reproduced

FWIW, 66 had a galvanized support piece, but 67 didn't use it, just used longer screws.

Holes don't line up may just have to drill some but worth a search

I agree.
My 67 plates were not holding their shape with wear & tear, so I added the support plates from a 66.

Perhaps you can find a used pair from any '66 2 door b-body by placing a parts wanted ad?

My 1966 Charger was someone's parts car for years and was also missing these plates but I found a four door car at the junkyard, then pulled the shorter front and rear plates, cut and spliced. Worked great.
