been working on my charger for about 3 yrs now coming slowly. almost have the paint done, engine is about ready to drop in. getting ready to start on the interor. Just working in my spare time.

does any one know if I need to change out the steering column if I chance to power steering. or will the manual work fine.

you might have to change columns, i think in 67 they changed to a column that would colapse and could be used on both. i'm not really sure but if you have your column out , try tapping on geerbox end and see if it slides up. you might have to tap hard. i have a 67 coronet that i changed up to power and it slid up without a complete change of column. hope this helps. tim

welcome to FBBO, nice Charger project

welcome, like the color you did on the charger.

Labor of love looking good!

Don't know the absolute answer to your steering column question but I have a column from an column shifted automatic trans '67 Charger with P/S if that is of any help.

I'll take a look at the Parts Lists for '66 & '67 Chargers and see if anything is noted for manual vs power steering columns.
