66 Coronet A/C dash vent issue

The previous owner installed a radio in what looks like where an A/C vent was in the dash. Is that what happened here? Can someone post a pic if that is what this is? If not a vent, any idea how to fill it in?

Perfect!! That is what they did then. Thank you for the pics! Now I just have to find a vent.

Search old salvage yards for a good one from a Coronet. Maybe someone is parting one out. Not sure if a Satellite/Belvedere one would work as the radio and AC vents are flip flopped in location and is longer.

They are different.

Plymouth goes where the Coronet's radio is and their radio goes below.

Actual vents may be the same but the housing is quite different.

If it's the same Plymouth to Dodge, I have one in a Plymouth that I would sell. I would have to verify actual condition.

The side vents are the same but the middle is different.
