Hello Team FBBO,

On a 66 Coronet 500, Convert.

This w/end I may be ready to take out the Dash and all of the stuff on the dash board. Are there tools that are needed to get the bezels out? Talking about light switch, Convert up and down switch, Ignition switch, Wiper switch and well, you get the idea. Coaching??

Best,

B.

There is a socket that is designed to remove the outer retaining rings WITHOUT damaging them, like a screwdriver or punch with a hammer will.

Light switch will have a spring loaded button on the body. You need to push the button which will allow the knob and stem to be pulled out. I think most of the other knobs will have a hex type set screw to allow their removal.

Thank you to both. Once again, you folks are GREAT!!!! To Do list for the Weekend, Last Grind of the fall leaves with JD mower. Remove Convert Top on the 66, take the bezels off the 66, drain all fluids from engine from 66. Call for support to help take out the Convert Top and the engine. Yea, now we are talking!!! Best to you all.
