66 satellite vert trim?

Is the trim around the windshield stainless or chrome? Need to refinish it and need to know whether to send it out or start polishing

i polished mine, not sure if its chrome but its really looks good polishing it. be careful tho not to concentrate on one area too long

The trim on the outside is stainless, the trim on the inside is chrome. You wouldn't have an extra rear-veiw mirror mount would you?

Chrome would pit over time. More than likely it is stainless steel. They used a 400 series stainless which is magnetic.

Ill check saturday. A guy i know has a vert hes taken all the trim off of in hopes to sell it, but he doesnt go online or anything and the car is pretty hidden

Thanks for checking - mine is pitted very badly, looking for a nice one. Unfortunately the mount is '66 and convertible only.
