67 Belvedere headliner install question

I'm getting ready to install a new headliner in my 67 post car, this model has the gripper teeth all around the edges (front, back and sides). In this case, do I still need to use glue to install it?

The only place to glue maybe the A pillars, where it wraps around it! Also remember to replace the sail boards on the b pillars!
